Why must I become a member?

• To obtain a rental membership card for the National Library of Korea, Sejong, you must create an account on the library's homepage. Once you are a member, you will be able to use a variety of services such as reserving items, applying for general loans, applying for loans from Kiosks, and reserving seats at the multimedia corner or in the seminar rooms.

Which sites can I use if I obtain the integrated membership?

• You can use the websites of the National Library of Korea, Sejong, National Library for Children and Young Adults, National Digital Library, National Library for the Disabled, OASIS(Online Archiving & Searching Internet Sources), and the Chaekbada National Interlibrary Loan Service Homepage. (Exception: Only the visually impaired can use the homepage of the National Digital Library for the Visually Impaired.)

How can I cancel my membership?

• Login to the website of the library 'My library' Click the cancellation button(If you still have an unreturned item, you will not be able to cancel your membership.)

Is the photographing or videotaping of materials allowed inside the collection rooms?

• Basically, it is prohibited to take photographs or shoot a video the inside the collection rooms. However, such activities are permitted for the purpose of necessary research or work on a restricted basis.

Can I use the wireless internet service in the library?

• As a library member, you can freely use the wireless internet on your laptop computer, tablet PC, smartphone, or other device anywhere in the library.
